A personal look at the tools that help me save time and stay creative
When I started experimenting with AI, I didn’t expect it to become an integral part of my daily design process. I’ve always believed that creativity comes from people, not machines. But over time, I learned how AI can quietly handle repetitive work and leave me more space for the creative part.
Here’s how I utilize AI to streamline my design process — from the initial meeting to the final touches — without compromising the human touch.

Tool I use: Fathom
During client meetings, I used to write notes like crazy and miss half of what was said. Now I just let Fathom record and organize everything for me — action points, next steps, main ideas.
That way, I can listen better, ask the right questions, and stay present instead of typing nonstop.
Tool I use: ChatGPT
After meetings, I drop the chat messages or notes into ChatGPT to get a short summary of what matters most.
Sometimes it even helps me notice missing details — like unclear goals or features that weren’t discussed.
It’s a simple way to make sure I don’t start designing without full context.
Tools I use: ChatGPT, Lummi.ai
I use AI for the “blank page” moments. When I need to explore layouts, tones, or even color directions, I ask AI to show quick variations.
It’s not about getting a ready design — it’s about sparking ideas.
I always rework the results in my own way, keeping the design honest and personal.
Tool I use: Figma AI
Instead of starting from scratch, I now ask Figma AI to make quick wireframes.
For example: “Create a landing page with hero, features, and contact section.”
It gives me a few versions that I can adjust.
It’s still my layout — I just reach that stage faster.
Tool I use: DALL·E
For mood boards or hero images, DALL·E is helpful. I generate background ideas or icon shapes, then rework everything by hand to fit the brand.
I believe visuals should have emotion, and AI just gives me the base to build from.
Tools I use: ChatGPT, Copy.ai
Writing small bits of text — like button names, tooltips, or messages — used to take hours.
Now, AI drafts versions for me, and I pick or tweak the one that fits the tone.
It’s fast, but it still sounds natural because I rewrite every line in my own words.
Tools I use: Notion AI, ChatGPT
When I get client feedback, I use AI to summarize the main points. It helps me see patterns — what needs to change and why.
It also suggests ways to improve usability or flow, but the final call is always mine.
Tools I use: Notion AI, Zeplin
At the end, AI helps me prepare design systems, notes, and final files.
It saves hours of boring work and makes my handoffs look clean and organized.
